We’re delighted to announce that both of Instant Physio’s chartered physiotherapists, Ed Thompson and Steve Judson have received their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination.
As a medical service, we have been open throughout lockdown and have strictly adhered to government guidelines as our patient safety is of paramount importance. Both of our locations (Tooting & Balham) are covid secure, and have been praised by our patients for their safety.
This added layer of protection is extremely welcome, but please note we will continue to operate in a covid secure way.
Instant Physio founder Ed Thompson said: “There has been some understandable concerns, particularly amongst older patients, about coming into the clinic throughout the pandemic. Although we operate in a covid secure manner, we, like any other business, were unable to guarantee 100% safety. However, to keep people healthy and out of pain, we offered virtual physio for anyone not wanting to come in for face-to-face treatment which were very well received and continue to do virtual classes.
We have already seen an increase in patients coming into the clinic after receiving their first dose of the vaccine, and now that myself and Steve (Instant Physio’s other chartered physiotherapist & personal trainer) have had our first dose, we hope this will boost people’s confidence in coming to see us.
Our new staff member Lauren, is also due to get her vaccine on Thursday (18th March) as she will be coming into the clinic to help things run smoothly.
I’d also like to add just how brilliant the NHS staff were during my vaccination. It was a really efficient operation, you can see why the UK is one of the global leaders in terms of vaccinating – so a huge thanks to them once again!”
